Prayers for Camarillo 🙏🏼 this wildfire 🔥 came out of nowhere and firefighters and police are working tirelessly to get people to safety and keep the fire under control. I’m in tears reading all of your messages. Thank you for the love and support. ❤️

🥬 Whenever I visit Sissy in UT she takes me to @cubbys for their Kale and wild rice salad. Healthy, filling and packed with flavor. I’ve been craving it lately and decided to try @lillieeatsandtells dressing recipe. It’s spot on 👏🏼 Even my kids loved it! Omit anything you don’t love, it will still taste delicious. 😉 make extra and take some to a friend. Also @symlmusic strikes again with another great 🎶

Salad ingredients:
Kale washed (remove stems)
Chop thin
Wild rice
Green apple cubed
Craisins
Sliced almonds
Chicken
Goat cheese optional
Mix in dressing and toss.
Top with cubed avocado chunks & squeeze of fresh lime.

Dressing:
1 cup cilantro
½ cup low fat cottage cheese (or
Greek yogurt)
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp. dijon mustard
½ Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
¼ tsp cumin
¼ tsp salt
